New York Fashion Week In Jeopardy?

Fashion and Style

New York Fashion week begins on February 1, 2008 and many are worried that the Fall 2008 shows may be under jeopardy. Especially since the New York Giants will be taking on the field in Phoenix for Superbowl XLII which means everyone will be watching the game and no one will be watching the shows.

Not to mention most A-listers that grace the front rows of most of the shows will be partying it up in Scottsdale for the weekend. Shows such as Herve Leger, Diane Von Furstenberg, Miss Sixty may be in jeopardy for lack of star power.

Thank goodness fashion week extends until February 8 and might be saved. Looks like Reem Acra, Sean John, Ralph Lauren, Zac Posen and Tommy Hilfiger will have a good turnout since their shows are scheduled at the end of fashion week. Nevertheless we hear Paris Hilton and Rumer Willis are already in the city, but then again they are not real celebrities.
