We mentioned a while back that new mommy Nicole Richie was going to start designing maternity wear. She was inspired to design the line because of her pregnancy.
Nicole says that during her pregnancy she had to wear her boyfriend Joel Madden's clothes because her shirts wouldn't fit her anymore.
When speaking about her upcoming maternity line Nicole said, “My line will be about making women look and feel good at a really emotional time. It's about showing your best self, not your tired, worn-down self.”
This is actually a great idea; let's just hope she goes forward with it. Reality is that there are not too many maternity lines out there that emphasize on the cuteness of the clothes. Some people assume that its ok to look bad and dress bad while pregnant and that is just not OK!
